Greentech Environmental, an innovator in air filtration solutions, announced the launch of groundbreaking Greentech Filters+ with ODOGard, delivering odor elimination at a molecular level within the filter.

Combining two revolutionary technologies, this next-generation HVAC filter is a high-capacity MERV-rated filter with ultrafine filtration capabilities while achieving a lower pressure drop. Greentech’s Filters+ are designed to meet the demands of both new and older HVAC equipment, addressing the pressing needs of facilities post-pandemic, while also providing advanced odor elimination.

The unique design starts with Greentech’s advanced nanofiber construction, which provides more surface area to capture ultrafine particles, creates better air flow and helps HVAC systems work smarter, not harder. It’s a true mechanical filter with a low pressure drop, holding its MERV rating for the life of the filter, unlike electrostatic filters that lose their charge. Nanofiber provides a more sustainable ecosystem for the environment by using 50% less synthetic material, so replacing a typical 24”x 24” x 2” filter with Greentech Filter saves the equivalent of 8.5 (16.9 oz.) bottles of plastic from entering landfills.

ODOGard, the second component of this technology, destroys VOCs, gases, and odors, changing their molecular structure to render them inert. ODOGard is 100% non-toxic, 100% biodegradable and has a proven, established use in various household products, including adult diapers and trash bags.

Greentech’s two-in-one filter represents a cost-effective solution with no capex to adopt or implement in existing systems. It serves as the first line of defense against airborne pollutants and can replace a wide range of pleated filters, ranging from MERV 6 to 11A, and even certain carbon filters in select environments.
